About John J. Hopkins & Associates
As the son and grandson of ironworkers, Attorney John J. Hopkins was taught the value of hard work at an early age. Working out of Ironworkers Local 392 in East St. Louis, Illinois, he financed his college and law school by working in the trade. The lessons learned on the job site have guided him well through his 42 years of practice, representing the interests of working men and women throughout the Metro East area.
Mr. John J. Hopkins focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, nursing home litigation, and workers’ compensation. He has achieved success before both Illinois and the United States Supreme Court and was voted as the best attorney in the Tri-City (Granite City) area. Mr. Hopkins was also elected as a fellow of the American Bar Association, an honor reserved for less than 1% of the legal profession.
